In 2011 the Railway / Pitsford Home Guard entered the Railway at War 2010 in the “Best Event” category in the Northamptonshire Heritage Awards and won a Highly Commended certificate.
We would now like suggestions for nominations for the next set of awards. There are six main categories (Possible suggestions in brackets):
- Best Event
- Best Exhibition (Pitsford Home Guard)
- Award for Work with Children and Young People (Learning Bus)
- Collections Care and Development
- Inspiration for Best Special Projects (Allchin Roller)
- Best Volunteer Project (Boughton Signal Box).
Submission date is May 2012; evidence in substantiation for each of the above suggestions is required.
