New Rule Book Issued

A new version of the Rule Book has been issued by the Board.

All members are to see Adam Giles or Ema Sharpe to obtain a copy and to sign to say they have received a copy.

The main change is a new section on PTS (Personal Track Safety) and amendments to the rules to accommodate the new PTS requirement.

All previous versions of the rule book are now null/void/obsolete/not valid and are not to be used or referred to.

Your first copy of the rule book is free; if you need a new folder due to loss or damage then there is a small fee payable.

Members are reminded that as of 1st of March 2012 they will need to have undergone the PTS training & certification course (with competency assessment) and a basic health check with Faye or Dr Colin. Failure to do so will mean you are not approved to work/volunteer at the railway, irrespective of the task(s) being undertaken.

PTS certification requires the reading of the Rule Book and successfully completing, with assessment, a course endorsed by the board & run by Grahame Every.
